Admissions and withdrawals
- Admission to a class is restricted by certain Government regulations and by the conditions of age, ability and conduct.
- The age for admission to standard I is between 6 and 6 ½ years, with a corresponding increases for the higher class.
- All candidates who join standard – I fresh from home or from private school have to produce an official birth certification. Besides, Christians must also produce a Baptism Certificate. Candidates coming for admission form outside India and unrecognized school must pass a written test in such subjects as may be required of them.
- Except for children who seek admission to standard I, all the other must produce transfer certificates from the previous recognized school.
- The Leaving Certificate of a pupil joining from a school outside Maharashtra state must be countersigned by the Education Inspector of the District in which the previous school is situated.
- No Leaving Certificate will be issued unless applied for an person by the parents or guardians in the prescribed form and after all the dues have been paid.
Discipline
- Both parents and pupils should keep in mind the following principles of discipline laid down in the Secondary School code. Section VIII Rule 56.
"Regularity and implicit obedience should be insisted upon.
Politeness and courtesy in speech and conduct as well as cleanliness of dress and person should be included."
Pupil should realize that they are responsible to the School Authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behavior outside. - Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of school on the part of pupils will make them liable for disciplinary action. Parents or guardians must understand that they cannot dictate the Management and that the Management has right to say on what conditions it will admit or retain pupils in the school. Pupils shall not take part in any political activities. Persistent insubordination, malpractices in connection with examinations, repeated and willful mischief which has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupils will make a pupil liable to expulsion permanently or for time, at the discretion of the Principal.”
- Regular attendance and the study habits, prompt obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of dress and person are expected from every pupil.f them.
- Hence, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, dissatisfactory application to studies, disobedience, objectionable moral influence, cheating, stealing and unsatisfactory conduct in and may dismissal of a student .
- Attendance on the 1st two days of the school after holidays is compulsory. No excuses will be accepted. Prior permission for absence on the first day after holidays must be obtained even if the child is sick.
- No child may leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
- Pupils should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, wrappers of eatables etc., anywhere in the school premises. They should use the baskets and bins especially provided for this purpose.
- Children should keep order and silence while going to classrooms, playground and laboratory.
- Pupils are expected not to a make any damage to building, furniture, laboratory apparatus or library books. If the school undertakes the repairs, the parent will be charged for the same. The school is not responsible for books, money and other articles that are lost by students in school.
- All pupils must process a copy of the school diary which is to be brought to class on all school days. A pupil who looses his school diary will have to buy a new one.
- During the absence of the teacher, the Monitor will be responsible for order and discipline in the class.
- As soon as the bell rings for assembly the pupil’s should move in silence to line up in the proper places for the assembly.
- Except for parents, brothers or sisters of students, no outsiders are permitted in the school compound. Any student found talking to outsiders will be punished.
- Pupils are expected to be punctual. Late comers are liable to be sent home at the parents’ own risk.
- Pupils are to keep in mind why their parents have admitted them to an English Medium School. Hence, except during Hindi and Marathi periods, they should speak in English.
Principal’s Permission
- To make a collection for any purpose whatsoever.
- To arrange for party, picnic of meeting.
- To join a sports meet or play in games not arranged by the school.
- To give presents to teachers or to arrange celebrations in their honor.
- To bring books, periodicals or newspapers into the school premises.
- To impose fines.
- To give or take tuitions.
- To send students out of school during class hours.
School Uniform
- On school days and for school functions, each pupil should wear the school uniform.
- Every child should have at least two sets uniforms similar to the pattern and color specified.
- No boy/girl will be allowed to come to school in a uniform that in a uniform that in either faded, threadbare, torn or dirty. Shoes must be regulary polished. In this connections it is pertinent to note that poverty and cleanliness are not opposed to one another.
Recommendation to Parents
- You the parents, are the real educators of your children. The school is just a helper, playing a secondary role in this matter. Please , therefore, involve yourselves in your children’s education; be interested in their homework and studies.
- Parents are informed that occasional reports and recommendations from teachers are made in the school diary. You are requested to sign them as a proof that you have read them.
- Parents are expected to sign the terminal and final exam reports or any other similar documents when so requested.
- . Parents or guardians are not allowed to meet the children or to meet the teachers during working hours without the permission of the Principal. Members of the staff can be interviewed only during their free periods , by previous appointment , or during the recess.
- Complains of any kind, If any, should, be made to the school Authorities and not to the teachers. Any communication from the parents to teachers to parents should be made only through the Principal.
- Except for parents, brothers or sisters, no outsiders are permitted in the school compound. Parents are responsible for the behaviour of those who to leave their children to school or take them home or bring the tiffins. Any noticed or reported misbehavior of such person may mean disciplinary action against the student concerned , even their dismissal.
- When communicating with the Principal, parents are requested to mention in their letter the standard name, roll number and divisions in which their children are studying.
- Parents themselves should come and meet the Principal or teachers. The Principal and teachers will deal only with parents and not with any other relatives or employees. Parents of students of lower classes should meet the class Teachers at least once a month.
- Private tuitions are strongly discouraged. If they are necessary, an application, for permission, should be made to the Principal. No tuitions may be taken from the teacher who teaches the pupils class.
- Each class will normally go for a picnic once in a year. It is a class activity, hence all are expected to attend while the teacher who accompanies the students will try his/her best to take care of them, he/she will not to be held responsible for any accident or loss that may occur to a student.
- Parents are advised to be careful about that safety of their children when sending them to school in overcrowded vehicles. This is extremely risk and dangerous. No one should stop or park their vehicles in front of the gate or in a disorderly manner outside the school thus causing inconvenience to the children and to the children and to the children and to the general public – Rickshaw drivers should be particularly instructed about this.
Leave
- No leave or absences is granted except on previous written application from the parents/guardians and that to, far serious reason only.
- A child returning to school after an infectious disease must bring a doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to join class.
- If a pupil is absent due to illness for more than two days, a medical certificate must be produced stating the period for which the child is likely to remain absent. If he/she is absent for three months or more without permission his/her name is liable to be struck off from the roll.
- No pupil who has been absent from school will be admitted to class without the principal’s signature in the diary. Regular attendance is insisted upon.
- During school hours no student is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission of the teacher or until the class is dismissed. Written permission of the Principal is required for the student to leave the premises during school hours. Breaking of this rule will be viewed seriously.
- Children will not be allowed to leave the school early unless they have a written request from their parents addressed to the Principal.
- For indiscipline and lack of regularity in studies TWO warnings will be given, after which the student will be dismissed from the school.
Evaluation System
- The Examination schedule for classes I to VIII will be as per the New system of Evaluation prescribed by State Government.

The students will be judged by two ways i.e.
a.Formative Evaluation   b.Summative Evaluation
Formative - Means a continuous assessment conducted during the academic year.
Summative- Means a written assessment conducted at the end of a term or year. - The mark system will be different for different classes.
- The students would be assessed as per the following pattern of marks given below.
- Only grades will be mentioned in the report cards.

Examinations and Promotion
- Parents should send a written explanation accompanied with a doctor’s certificate. When a child is absent from the tests or examinations. There are no re-examinations.
- A Pupil who takes or gives dishonest help at an examination will be debarred from the rest of the rest of the examinations and he/she will be given a Zero. A boy/girl may be dismissed in a serious case a cheating more than once.
- Parents should compulsorily attend the Open Day after the surprise Tests, terminal exams and Annual Examination.
- The Periodic Progress Reports, as well as the Annual Examination Report will be withheld pending payment of fees to the school unless condonation has been obtained well in advance.
- Infringement of rules of the Examination by any pupil will make the pupil liable to repeat the class.
